This just in
"I hope to stay here a couple of years"
Together with Fredrik Stenman we look back on the game against Hannover and we talk about his youth, his value for Club Brugge and Sunday's game against Kortrijk. 'If I can be important for Club Brugge the next months? I hope to stay here a couple of seasons and prove how important I can be.'Fredrik Stenman was born ans raised in Sweden, where he painted a goal and a goalkeeper and practiced for
hours. When he was fifteen he went to a team in the Swedish second division and his career started.
Are you satisfied with the game against Hannover?
"I'm satisfied with my and our game. Hannover isn't a bad team. We scored an important goal. It's a pity we made some defensive mistakes."
We only get to know now you after a long period of injuries, how do you look back on this period?
"Those months were the hardest ever in my career. I felt useless and walked around like a zombie. That's why I try to give the injured players like Vadis Odjidja and Jonathan Blondel a pep-talk, because I know how hard it is sometimes for them."
Are you completely fit again, or can you still make some progress?
"I feel good, but I can certainly make some progress. The teamwork with Lior Refaelov and Maxime Lestienne on the left wing has to improve."
What do you expect from the game against KV Kortrijk?
"A game after an European away game is always difficult. Kortrijk is doing well this season, but we want to continue our row of victories in the competition. We have to stay as close as possible to Anderlecht!"
Thanks Fredrik en good luck Sunday!
